Hi team.

I am the owner of McNeil Aviation based in Hervey Bay.  We are a small Aerospace Company. I was previously a senior Airline Captain with Qantas on the Boeing B-747- 400 on International Flight Operations coming from a General Aviation background.  Since being retrenched from Qantas due to COVID-19 I have also been instructing on UAS in the Australian Army and Teaching Science and Mathematics in High Schools on the Fraser Coast, recently winning the 2022 Australia Day Award for S.T.E.M.

I am a member of the SAAA, EAA, and AOPA International and a Flight Safety Advisor for the SAAA, and a Technical Counsellor if you need one on the Fraser Coast or regions.

I hold a CASA ATPL a FAA Commercial and a Canadian FCV Pilots licence and previous ATO, CFI, CGI instructor, and CP qualifications.

We are waiting for the 300Hp TurboAero engine version and are currently about to install a 350Hp Lycoimg in the Lancair ES. I'm looking forward to interacting with other enthusiasts on these forums.
