I'm John. I've been flying since 1980. I have been a BA pilot for 32 of those years and a BA captain for 22yrs. As well as various small aircraft I have flown DC9, 737, DC10, 747, A319-A321 & A380. I am currently flying the 787.
I will retire, aged 65yrs, in Aug 2024. In retirement I plan to construct a four seater 'fast single' in South Africa and fly it back to Europe staying everywhere with an 800m gravel strip and serving G & T!! I was a Raptor customer and had hopes that this would be the plane for me. However, I am now looking at retrofitting a turbo engine to a suitable fast four seater single. Help please!

Welcome to the forum John. Personal suggestion, considering you are interested in the Raptor - maybe take a look at Velocity aircraft, if you haven't done so already. Seems like an aircraft that may fit within your needs, and both the SE and the V-Twin would seemingly match well with a Talon.
